Quality Products in a Country Store Atmosphere
The energy crisis of the early 1970s prompted the addition of selling new Ashley Stoves.
In 1976 the Granbury location was moved and consolidated with the newly created "David's Stove Shop" in the restored building in downtown Weatherford, on East Fort Worth Street.
David's expanded their product line to include Schrader, Earth, and Conestoga and several other well known brands.
Back in 1971, David sold salvaged Franklin Fireplaces and chimney components in Granbury, Texas. At the same time, because of his growing interest in antique stoves, which seemed to epitomize true American Values and Workmanship, he had begun collecting antique stoves in a restored building in Weatherford, Texas.
Moving to its present location in 1981, "David's" was incorporated in 1983, and has been serving the needs of Central Texas homes ever since. With too many high quality product brands to mention, David's offerings include multiple fuel type stoves and grills for Heating & Cooking, and Home Decor Items including everything from Antiques to Cast Iron Cookware, to Wind Chimes. Recently adding outdoor Metal Artwork and Authentic Wooden Windmills, David's has something for everyone.
